Dear Dream Life Family,
"When it comes to the race called life the most important thing is to keep your eye on the finish line, the destination, the vision or the main goal that you have in God for your life.
Romans 8:28-30 - "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; whom He justified, these He also glorified."
It seems that God has a destination in mind for every individual born on planet earth, and that there is a purpose (His purpose) planned ahead of time to enable us to reach that destination. According to God's perspective, all the events and all the things that either happen to us or around us are working together for our good. You are prepared all of your life for this moment in your life. I have discovered over a number of years, that God is a God of time and a God of seasons. For someone who is in pursuit of God and His call, this can be quite frustrating; however, our frustrations serve as an indication that we are not co-ordinated with the season of life that we find ourselves in. So, in order to come to a place of rest, we need to be a people who know how to read the signs of the times and discern the season we are in (Matt 16:1-3). Hebrews 4 says we enter that place of rest by faith, obedience and ceasing from our own works.
Keep your focus on the destination."
